Limpopo Master Thinks He's A Fashion Icon

Kingsley Okonkwo, KCee, as he is fondly called, thinks he is what many may call a fashion connoisseur with the way he matches one fashion item after the other.
Say what you may but the Limpopo Master sure knows how to live the good life and those who know him can tell you that when it comes to colour, he knows how to mix them.
One close friend of the Pullover crooner says that he is quite unique in doing things and whenever he decides on a particular colour, he makes sure the colour matches everything he wears.
Just like in the Instagram photo where he makes sure his dress has a touch of red to match with his red SUV jeep.
He then poses a question about him being a fashion icon.
So what do you make of our fashion icon of the day?

Twin Singers Battled Over Music, Not Money And Family

P square have revealed that their earlier fight which threatened to split their partnership was due to the passion they had for the fans and for music.
A couple of months ago, media reports had revealed that the Peter and Paul Okoye were involved in a bitter quarrel which degenerated into physical combat. The quarrel was widely reported and analysed on social media, with many taking sides and blaming either brother and their wives.
But the brothers have revealed to Olisa Adibua, on talk show; The Truth, that their arguments and fight was due to a proposed shift in musical structure and operations between them.
It wasn't about money, it wasn't about women, it's just a normal thing. The way you argue or quarrel with your siblings, it's normal.” Peter Okoye revealed.
He continued, “The only sad thing about this is that it got out. When it was happening, we were still performing in shows. So people took our private lives, to our business, which I don't blame them. I don't blame these fans because we owe them a lot of apology.
But for the fact that they took it too far, I and Paul had a mere argument, and it was about music.”
Paul Okoye added: “When it comes to music, even if I want to bring something new, the new stuff I wat to bring, I still want to make it 'us'. But he wanted to bring something different. For me, you cannot change how we do things. If you wanna bring something different, bring it gradually.
But you can't just switch fast immediately. It's gonna have an effect. It's gonna hit us. So it has to do with the music, the song to select on the album, there are some songs he (Peter Okoye) preferred, and others I preferred.”
This thing has happened before, during the days of 'Do Me'.
Peter concurred, revealing certain specifics about their operations. He revealed that he was against the publishing of the 'Do Me' hit single, but Paul had his way, and it worked.
I never liked 'Do Me', I never liked 'Do Me'. How we ended up choosing that song was we said, “Peter choose your best five, Paul choose your best five. Paul's best five, 'Do Me' was inside it. I never selected it.
Although Paul won, because in that album, 'No One Like You', 'Ifunanya', and most of his selections went far. It happens in every album. The truth is, the whole fight and quarrel is for the fans. Because we are trying to bring out the best. If we had just said, 'make we release everything', at the end of the day, we'll start looking for who to blame.”
The twin singers are of the belief that the dark episode was deserved, an unavoidable price for their fame.
Paul said, “When people started hearing that, they started directing it to someone. If it is not Jude, it is their wife. I looked at it and said this is a price we're paying. 'Who send us go dey popular'.”

Davido Congratulates Wizkid On Album Release

Singer Davido has congratulated his supposed 'beef' rival, Wizkid on the initial success of his new album 'Ayo'.

Wizkid who dropped his sophomore album on online stores, Wednesday September 17, 2014, after it was leaked by unknown bootleggers, has topped the iTunes Nigeria, chart, and performed admirably in other countries.
He and Davido has in the previous weeks reportedly been involved in a bitter social media battle, with plenty of media coverage and analysis. But it appears both sides are ready to bury the hatchet.

Davido congratulated Wizkid on the release of his new album. The star singer hailed Wizkid and Psquare on the release of their albums (Ayo and Double Trouble).
Apparently, Davido was sincere when he went on Olisa’s The Truth to say there’s no beef as he’d bared his mind over the matter and long moved on. He has further confirmed this with a congratulatory gesture. See his tweet below.

On the unexpected release of the full 19 track album on iTunes, Wizkid said "They leaked my shit!! Its all Good still."See the tweet below.

But it's not all gloom for the singer, Wizkid and his camp quickly took advantage of the situation to drop the album on iTunes, and it has worked magic.
'Ayo' Album is currently number one in iTunes Nigeria. It pushed down Chris Brown's 'X' album to number 2, and it also affected Psquare's album, 'Double Trouble'.
In iTunes America, Wizkid is the 95 album on the charts, In Ghana, his single 'Dutty Whine' featuring Banky W is the number 1 song. In East African Kenya, 'Ayo' album debuts at number 50, but it does better in the UK at the 37 position.

The pair have been dating on and off for a couple of years.

Clearance Peters Not A Threat - Patrick Elis

Although one of Nigeria's top music video director, Patrick Elis, has officially debunked rumours that he was dating his client artiste, Eva Elordiah, the Delta State born talented dude reveals reasons the romance rumours went viral.

He maintained that Eva is more like a younger sister to him and they share so many things alike even sense of fashion.

The 26-year old director who shot to limelight after he shot Wizkid's 'Holla at your boy' video also squealed that he had really wanted to be a baby daddy at 22.

"At a point in my life I wanted to have a baby when I was 22. I really wanted to but then I sat down and asked myself why I really wanted a child at that age. I wanted to have a baby by all means but was I really ready to face reality of taking care of my baby and the mother? Then, I remembered my father got married to my mom before they gave birth to us. It might really not work the same way, but I am not ready to be a father now.

He also spoke on Clarence Peters as a threat to him in the behind the camera business.

"Clarence is never a threat to me because we are not directing same kind of videos. We have different dreams. My dream is to become a very successful business man. If I have a serious business, I can ask Clarence to help me direct some videos. I have a friend that’s a star and I don’t shoot most of his videos and he’s my very close friend but I linked him up with other directors not because I can't shoot but because it’s business for me. I have never woken one day to see Clarence as a threat to me. I might quit directing tomorrow and my competitor might be down. I am contending with many rich men, does that make every of them a threat to me?" He said.
An Interview With Hannah Ojo - Fashion Burst

An Interview With Hannah Ojo - Fashion Burst

Hannah Ojo
She is an upcoming actress who believes she has what it takes to become successful in her career. This she has proved through a few jobs she has done. Although she hadn’t the confidence initially, her passion for acting has made her to excel. She is tall, elegant and beautiful to say the least. Hannah Ojo, who hails from Ekiti State, talks about her challenge and love for acting.

Are you ready to pay the price to become a star?

When you talk about paying price, I have been doing that since 2005. It is not easy as I said but it has to do with determination. I could have said okay I want to turn back after two years that nothing came out of it but I saw that there is something in me that really want to go ahead. I have paid the price in terms of money and I am still willing to pay more prices.

What do you mean by paying money?

Actually, in some productions, you would be asked to pay and register under them to be a member before they would start giving you jobs. There are so many productions like that, where you pay and at the end of the day, they would not do anything. They would give you scripts, you waste your time to study it, to go for rehearsals and at the end of day, they would not do it. It might take you two weeks to go for rehearsals consistently, but at the end, your money and energy would be wasted.

You said that you are ready to pay more prices, if you are to sleep with a producer or director, would you do that?

No, I won’t do that. I have had stuffs like that but I turned back because I didn’t want to get famous through that means.

Are you aware that if you don’t do that you would remain where you are?

Yes, you may remain where you are but not forever. If you are very good, even if it is little jobs that you are doing, at a time, you would blow as long as producers or directors are satisfied with your jobs.

Since 2005 till date, how many movies have you acted?

I have done three movies and so many soap operas. I did My Story, Wrong Passion, Edge Of Paradise, Needle’s Eye, Burning Spear, Private Sector, Clinic Matters and many others.

How do you intend to overcome all these challenges?

I really do not know but by the grace of God, I know that one day, the time would come and I would overcome it, and I think that the time is now.

What is your selling point?

It is my face, boobs and height.

What attracts men to you?

At first, men look at the outward thing before looking at the inside. The first thing that attracts them is my boobs and I think my eyes attract them too.

If you are to get a lead role and the price is to sleep with the producer, what would you do?

I will not do that because I feel that it should not be the way to climb the ladder of success. I did not do it when I started so, I will not do it now.

Can you act nude?

I can’t act nude but I can kiss. It is not until you act nude that you would become a super star. Acting has to do with what you can do and what you cannot. You have to set a standard for yourself. I know some artistes who did not act nude before they got to where they are now. There are some other things one can do to become a super star.

What are your expectations?

My expectation is just to be well known. I want the producers to give me the opportunity to prove that I can do it. Acting is all about being given the opportunity to do something. If you are not given the opportunity, nobody would know what you can do. You don’t find yourself rising in acting without the opportunity being given to you. It has to do with opportunity. My expectation is to be more recognized by producers and directors.

I Own My Words - Jim Iyke

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has expressed his feelings to fans that he owns his words but owe people the interpretation to anything he says or write as it is best known to him.

Jim Iyke explained that a person might say something but people might have different perception to whatever is said and as such, might get people confused.

He added that though people might think bad about a person, he will always remain who he is.

Hear him;

“I own my words but I owe people the interpretation. Men dt wear their intentions on their faces sometimes. As much as one might have a good intention for their actions, his action may seem parallel to his intention depending on hw peo perceive it. As much as perception is good, when viewed wrongly can lead to deception. Even tho wat peo think about you may bear relevance, I am what I think. #Introspection #InsideOut #EmpireStateOfMind #LawsOfRecognition #Impervious #MyDarkThots #DmBae.”

Why We Dont Leave With Our Wives - P Square

Multiple award-winning Nigerian pop duo of Peter and Paul Okoye with the group name ‘P-Square’ has disclosed that they do not live together with their respective wives. The group also revealed that they (brothers) still live together while their spouses stay in different places in Lagos.

OMO BABA OLOWO, Davido Flaunts Father’s New Car

Like the saying goes, ‘Like father like son’ could be the tale of wave making sensation, Davido, with his Nigerian billionaire businessman father, Mr. Deji Adeleke.

Davido’s father recently got himself a brand new Bently and his son Davido, took the snap shot and posted it on his social media with a prayer of hope.

Davidoofficial: Congrats Daddy on your new toy!! ur d baddest! Inspiration!!mine comin soon!! BABA OLOWO!!

The last few months have been a handful for Davido – he didn’t just make a very successful debut in the Nigerian music scene, but accelerated to the ‘A-list’ spot – something that has taken other ‘A-listers’ years to achieve. He’s released a debut album with chart topping singles, won international awards and performed in and out of the country. What else could he ask for?
Fans of arguably two of Nigeria's biggest singers at the moment, Ayo Balogun(Wizkid) and David Adeleke(Davido) have lent their voice to ongoing supremacy battle that started when Wizkid embarked on a tour of the United States few weeks after Davido won BET awards.

Read some fans reactions to Wizkid & Davido’s fight below, the first even blames it on Don Jazzy:

Blame Don Jazzy – Theo Okenyi, CEO, Zenith Entertainment
Don Jazzy is to blame for their beef. Instead of playing the big brother role by calming frayed nerves, he chose to stir it and this is creating bad blood among the younger artistes. So please, you should direct your questions to Don Jazzy.

Let them fight on –Precious Chukwu, undergraduate
Let them fight on! The more beef there is, the more tracks we will have; let the beef roll on! It’s good for hip hop.

Cold war is healthy –Sam Sam, lecturer
It is a normal development. Even in families, brothers fight brothers and sisters fight sisters. Rivalry and cold war is healthy because it helps all the concerned parties to sit up. They will soon resolve the issue because it’s neither their first nor would it be their last.

Wizkid is to blame –Pete Goodness, businessman
They have been having this cold war for quite a while and I think the blame should be heaped squarely on Wizkid. He undermined Davido when he said that the instrumental of Davido’s planned collabo with him was below standard and that he wouldn’t want to lower his brand by going ahead with the arrangement. Even if that was true, shouldn’t he have talked to Davido one-on-one rather than disclosing it to a third party? If I were Davido, I wouldn’t have taken such an insult lightly.

Blame it on Wizkid –Deji Ibrahim, current affairs commentator
I will answer your question by lifting some of their tweet-fight from my phone. Davido tweeted, ‘Snitch. No wonder you are not rolling with your day 1 niggas.’ And in reply, Wizkid left the subject matter entirely and addressed another issue thus: “Thank you so much New York! Boys talk, men work.” Did you hear that? Is Wizkid now referring to Davido as a boy while he is a man? Okay. By your physical rating, who looks more like a boy between them? Even in terms of current national and international rating, isn’t Davido ahead of Wizkid? So, I would say that it is Wizkid’s fault.

Davido more mature –Ade Mommodu, strategist
What’s my business with their feud? They’ve got their fame and money so if they choose to wash their dirty linen in public, it’s their choice. But from what I read in their tweets, Davido seems to be more mature.

It’s a gang up against Davido
–Chinelo Okocha, corps member
Judging from what I have read about the face-off, I would blame Wande Coal, D’banj and Wizkid for the controversy. I see it as a gang-up and Don Jazzy is the unseen hand behind it all. That was why Wande Coal’s manager all of a sudden started charging Davido so much for his planned collabo with Wande. Davido should just forget them and face his career.

Blame it on Wizkid –Anne Adeseyi, undergraduate
It’s obvious that Wizkid is not comfortable with Davido’s soaring success. He exploits every available opportunity to throw jabs at Davido. And Davido always tries to cover up by claiming there is no feud between them. They should realise that they are brothers in the industry.

Wizkid is enjoying the beef –Maxwell Great, petroleum engineer
According to what I read about the face-off sometime back, Don Jazzy was said to have instructed Wande Coal, who used to mentor both Davido and Wizkid to stop visiting or associating with Davido. That was in 2012 and it was all about a rumour that D’Banj had signed Davido to his record label. One thing led to another and the kid-singers have been pitched against each other. And Wizkid seems to be stoking the embers.

Feud is strategy to reinforce their relevance
–Igwenagu Chinolue, pharmacist
Don’t mind them. They are only trying to make themselves more relevant. That’s usually one of the strategies that celebrities use to reinforce their relevance before the public. They keep throwing up one controversy or the other about themselves. They know what they are doing and it’s working for them.

Blame Davido for face-off –Linda Chidalu
The truth of the matter is that though Wizkid may be wrong but I am blaming Davido for the renewed face-off. Why is he always trying to force himself on Wizkid for them to be friends? The world is so large and full of potential wonderful friends so why should he force himself on Wizkid? Since he has seen that Wizkid does not have a soft spot for him, why doesn’t he look elsewhere for friendship and partnership?

Don Jazzy is the unseen hand behind the quarrel –Blessed Nnajiofor, lawyer
What many people don’t know is that there is an unseen hand behind the knife tearing Davido and Wizkid apart. And that hand belongs to Don Jazzy. Wizkid and Davido should look inwards so that they will know what is really tearing them apart before they tear themselves to pieces.

Wande Coal is a politician–Ayorinde Jennifer, civil servant
Wande Coal behaved like a politician. Why would he allow Don Jazzy to choose friends for him? Does anyone tell Jazzy whom to associate with? Why is he afraid of Don Jazzy? Is Don Jazzy God? Even if Davido had truly been signed on by D’Banj’s Label, isn’t it his choice, his life, career and talent? Did he buy or inherit the talent from Don Jazzy? If Jazzy has issues with D’Banj, why should he transfer his aggression to an innocent hardworking boy? Wande Coal rather than do what was right acted like a politician.

It’s just a rivalry war –Lawrence Igweh, student
Davido and Wizkid’s feud is not new. What is playing out now dates back to sometime in 2012. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s just another rivalry war between artistes and that is not something new in the industry. It’s all about the fight for supremacy.

Wizkid uncomfortable with Davido –Adebayo Ibrahim
I don’t know the details of the issue. But from the little information I have about the artistes, Wizkid appears to be uncomfortable with Davido’s galloping fame. But he is only being childish because fighting Davido cannot stop him. Wizkid should remember Bob Marley’s lines, Who Jar blesses, no one curse.

Davido will never see Wizkid’s back –David Balogun, undergraduate
In this world, some people would want to be wiser and grow taller than their fathers even as toddlers. That’s the best way to qualify Davido. If not, why is he always trying to pose as if he is better than Wizkid? But the truth is that no matter how hard he tries, Davido will never see Wizkid’s back in the industry.

Davido should respect Wizkid –Beatrice Hodonu, aspiring model
Davido is to be blamed. Even if he is older than Wizkid which I’m not sure of, he should at least respect him as an elder in the industry. As far as the Nigerian music industry is concerned, Davido is Wizkid’s junior and he should accord that respect to him no matter what.

It’s fight between D’Banj and Don Jazzy’s camps –Elendu James, importer
When you consider that somehow, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal and D’banj are connected with the current face-off between Wizkid and Davido, you will realise that it’s all about supremacy; call it rivalry between two main camps and the two camps are D’Banj’s and Don Jazzy’s.

Davido should ignore Wizkid –Graham Stephens, computer analyst
If I were Davido, I would have ignored Wizkid long ago and faced my career. Silence is golden and it is usually the best answer to answer an attention-seeker.

Wizkid should be cautioned –Temitope Adebiyi, undergraduate
Should I tell you the truth? They are fighting a supremacy war, period! I just pray that it doesn’t degenerate into a situation where they try to take the life of each other via hired assassins or charms. They should try to limit the war to tweeter and instagram. As for who is at fault, I don’t really no. But I think that Wizkid should be cautioned.

Davido started the fight –Sikirat Adebayo, hair stylist
I know very well that Wizkid isn’t at fault. Davido is always looking for his trouble by poking his nose where he has no business; Davido started this fight.

My Kidnap Was Real - Nkiru Sylvanus

One of the cases that shook Nollywood to the foundation in 2012 was the kidnap of sweltering actress, Nkiru Sylvanus. This came after stiff opposition to her appointment as an aide to the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.

According to some of those opposed to her appointment, the blazing movie star was from Abia State and not Imo State.

It was then rumoured that the beautiful actress was in a sizzling romance with Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, an allegation that has not yet been proved by critics.

So, when she was kidnapped on a movie set in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, alongside her colleagues, Kenneth Okorie, there were different views on the matter. Ironically, the film she was shooting, when the incident occurred, ‘The Voice’, had a scene where she was kidnapped by a gunman. The movie was premiered in Lagos early July 2014.

Speaking in an interview during the movie premiere in Lagos, Nkiru was prompt to state that she did not stage manage her kidnap in 2012 to create publicity stunt for the flick as it was being alleged in many quarters.

According to her, the kidnap just coincidentally happened while she was shooting a film which had an abduction scene in it. She noted that she would never wish her enemy to go through the trauma she went through during the period.

Timaya Blast Fans

If there is anything a celebrity learns when he or she becomes famous is the act of tolerance and endurance. As much as many people tend to disrespect liberty and calmness of a celebrity, a celebrity needs to swallow all and ignore all negative comments that people many say along his or her way.

In the case of the Ukwu singer, Timaya he seems to lack that trait in a celebrity and replies fans who make negative comments on his social media page. Months ago Timaya blasted a fan who called him a Chimpanzee.

Recently, after posting his transformation testimony, a fan that attacked him and told him to go away with his money, the fan accused Timaya of not giving him money. “Why you too stingy Timaya, last time you come VFS Visa application center for France visa. You no fit even drop change for your wey say dem believe in you. Fuck you and your money” the angry fan wrote.

At this point, Timaya was already pissed at the comment and jumped on the fan saying “na your papa carry me come Lagos? Tomorrow if person go broke na una go first laugh. Fool no go work idiot” he blasted the fan.

Was Timaya as a role model, father and celebrity suppose to reply in such harsh words, or is the fan justified for telling Timaya the truth?
