"please pay me my money"-Freeze reveals why he publicly called out sports presenter for owing him

Last week, OAP, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Freeze took to his Instagram page to publicly ask sports presenter to pay up the money she owes him. He wrote,

“Dear @kiibati, you have been ignoring my calls for over one month now. This is so wrong; I have never done this before in my life but you have left me with no other option…please pay me my money!”

 When Sunday Scoop(Punch) reached out to Freeze to know what actually transpired between them, he said,

“She contacted me to be a part of her Merrybet Celebrity Fans Challenge. We negotiated and I gave her the bill. She said she would pay before the event, but she never did. She begged me to help her, and I did. I actually cancelled another event to be there for her that day. However, from the moment the event was over, she stopped answering my calls and messages. The event held on December 3, 2016, and over one month and two weeks later, she has not deemed it fit to offer me any explanation. I have tried to reach her through a mutual friend, but she still did not respond.”

Refusing to disclose the amount involved, Freeze stated that other celebrities were involved in the deal, and he has plans to take the matter to court.

“Even after my post on social media, she has not reached out to me. Rather, she uploaded a picture of herself dancing. I see that as extremely disrespectful and I will still write series of posts about this beginning from next week. You owe someone money and you don’t even have the decency to call the person and explain,” he said further.

On if he would forgive the debt if Kibati apologises to him, he said,

 “I am a man of God and I preach forgiveness, so if she reaches out to me, I will forgive her and even attend her events again. However, as for letting go of the debt, the time for that has passed; I just need her to pay me my money. It will serve as a deterrent for further behavior like that. Our agreement was that she would pay part of the money before the event and pay the rest at the beginning of January. Anybody that wants to owe me money in future should not engage me. I have done business with brands that have owed me tens of millions for over a year and I never went public about them because we always have a payment plan.”

Meanwhile, several calls and text messages put through and sent to Kibati went unanswered as of the time of filing this report.

Nollywood actor Benson Okonkwo whom a lot of people refer to as gay, due to the roles he plays in the movies and some of the real life photos he releases, as once again debunk the rumours saying he is not gay and addressed the issue of being feminine. In a chat with Sunday Scoop Benson said;

“I did not do Benson the Maniac to spur more homosexual rumours about myself, or to generate publicity. It was all about the script, and I was just playing a character who was homosexual, and I dare say, I played it well. It is the fourth gay character I have played in my career, and though it was my movie, I did not write the script. The movie had a storyline and it passed a message across. Nigerians always want to live your life for you, and tell you what you should and should not do. If you play a character well, they automatically conclude that is your real personality. Apart from acting as a homosexual, I have played lots of other roles in my career; why are people not talking about those? I am a versatile actor who can interpret any role, as long as it is make-believe. I am a very daring person; I don’t care what people think about me as long as they don’t put food on my table. A lot of people have tagged me as a ‘gay actor’ but that is just their opinion and I have never been accosted about my sexuality. I used to be very nice, but people used to take advantage of me, and now, I am just doing me.”


He continued, “Only God can judge me; nobody else has the right to do that. If you judge me, you are a sinner because the Bible admonishes us not to judge. He that is without sin should cast the first stone, and I know that no one is clean.

On why producers keep casting him for homosexual roles, Okonkwo said, “I do not know what they see in me. Maybe you should find out from them.”

On the perception that he behaves in a feminine manner, he said, “It is not true that I behave like a woman. Maybe, it is because of the way I dress; all I know is I am a very fashion-forward person.

However, I don’t fix my nails or make my hair; neither do I wear heels. I wear suits, boots and stilettos. I dress and behave manly! If they are mistaking my love for colours and fashion as being feminine, it is their opinion and I am not bothered.”

26 Dead As Indian Plane Crashes(photo)

At least 26 people have been killed and many others injured after a train derailed in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, officials say.

Seven coaches and the engine left the tracks near Kuneru station in Vizianagaram district, the head of East Coast Railway, JP Mishra, said.

Many people are still trapped in the wreckage and rescuers warn that the death toll could rise. It is not yet clear what caused the train to derail.

Mr Mishra said the injured had been taken to two nearby hospitals.


National railway spokesman Anil Saxena said emergency teams had worked through the night to try to locate survivors.
The crash happened on Saturday evening as the train was on its way from Jagdalpur to Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha state.

Train accidents are not unusual in India where much of the railway equipment is out of date.

Last November, more than 140 people were killed in a derailment in India's northern Uttar Pradesh state.

In March 2015 another accident in Uttar Pradesh killed 39 people and injured 150.

Contrary to reports that he ws attending Trump's inauguration, former President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday visited Ibogun ,Ogun State, the ancestral village of ex – President Olusegun Obasanjo.

During the rare meeting between the duo who were bitterly divided in the run-up to the election ,Obasanjo took Jonathan on a tour of the village and they sat to place a local game ,Ayo.
Obasanjo said

I want to thank you very sincerely for taking it upon yourself to pay us a visit at this point in time and at this location,
“Since you left office, you hardly have time to sit down and relax like you have been able to do today and I hope and pray for more such relaxed situation where we can reminiscence situations of the past that we have been through in this country, and also look at what the future portends.
“When leaders come, they have little or no experience, when they have to go is when they have really amassed a lot of experience, where they have wisdom, they are experienced to be in high demand, those people like you and me who have the grace of God to bow out gracefully, if there is no what I call constitutional office, we have residual responsibilities for Nigeria.”.

I believe that not only Nigeria, and Africa and indeed the world will continue to tap into our experiences, our wisdom and I hope and pray that when the call is made to you, you will be more than ready to put your experience into the service of this country, Africa and humanity in general,” he said.

“I have said to you before and I will say again that there are plenty of opportunities out there, within the country, within West Africa, within African and indeed in the larger world where people will want you to make contributions

“I believe that you are resting now and when you have fully rested and you will be hearing from me because I have had the opportunity to have gone around the world

The visit lasted about four hours of which Obasanjo and Jonathan alone spoke behind closed doors  for  40 minutes.

No member of Jonathan’s  entourage or Obasanjo’s associates was allowed into the inner room where the  secret talks took place.

Details;Thousands Of Biafra Supporters March Through Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway In Solidarity For Trump

Thousands of Biafra supporters on Friday defiled the order by the Rivers State Police Command not to stage any solidarity march for the new American president, Donald Trump, in Port Harcourt, Pm News reports.

Some of the marchers who came from the commercial city of Aba in Abia State were joined by their Rivers State counterparts.

They marched through the busy Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway where they overpowered policemen who mounted a blockade. As they marched along the busy road, they caused serious traffic jam.

They were carrying flags of the Indigenous People of Biafra, the USA flag and photographs of Donald Trump.


The population of the demonstrators increased as they approached First and Second Artillery Junctions. They were also joined by members of the Ikokwu Motor Spare parts Dealers Association.

However, they met a tough resistance from soldiers drawn from the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army at the Garrison Junction along Aba road who dispersed them by firing shots into the air.

The marchers scampered for safety and dispersed.

One of the IPOB members, Nnaana Okoye, who sustained injury when they were dispersed said: “We are demonstrating for the new American President, Donald Trump because he loves Biafra and he would force President Buhari to set free our leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

“We are optimistic that Trump will support the people of Biafra to achieve their dream of being on our own as a republic.”

It was not clear if arrests were made as at the time of filing this report.
